Doctor Who - Fan Recreation

​This Source Filmmaker animation was done for the Machinima & 3D Animation course at SUNY Polytechnic Institute during the Spring 2024 semester. I collaborated with Ryan Broadbent who animated the clips in the room with red lighting as well as the last hallway shot, while I animated the clips in the room with blue lighting as well as the other hallway clips (each of us animated one minute of the two minute clip).

The assignment required that we find a two minute clip from a movie or TV show and animate it in Source Filmmaker. We decided on using a clip of an episode from the TV show Doctor Who, called "Wild Blue Yonder."

For the animation, I used the pose to pose technique to generate the characters' movement. For the audio, I tested and modified it in Audacity before incorporating it in Source Filmmaker.
The Traitor

This animation was also done in Source Filmmaker for the Machinima & 3D Animation course at SUNY Polytechnic Institute. For this project, I also collaborated with Ryan Broadbent who animated the first half (first minute) of the animation while I animated the second half (second minute).

For this assignment, we were tasked to create a two minute story using Source Filmmaker. Ryan and I storyboarded our ideas and applied them to the animation.

In the TV clip recreation assignment, I used the motion editor in Source Filmmaker to pose the characters and create transitions. In this assignment, I decided to use the graph editor since it allowed for more precise posing and transitions by employing key framing techniques.
